Jailbreak iOS 4.0.1

comex has released jailbreak for iOS 4.0.1 it works like charm.

Try following steps:
1) Syncronize your iPhone with iTune.
2) Open Safari from iPhone, go to jailbreakme.com or jailbreakme.modmyi.com
3) Slide and there you go!


If you are stuck at the purple screen, do following steps!!! (Only on 3GS or 4)

1) Double tap home button.

2) Press and Hold Safari to quit (in multitask mode)

3) put your iphone to "Airplane mode".

4) Go to - Setting - Safari - Accept Cookies select "Always".

5) Clear all Cache and cookies.

6) Put your iPhone back into wi-fi and/or 3G mode.

7) Open safari and go to "jailbreakme.modmyi.com"

8) If it doesn't work just repeat the steps

Did this on mine after trying for hours and worked like a charm.
